I started my work in the wedding industry in 2018 by becoming certified as a Colorado wedding officiant. I absolutely love being an integral part of one of the most important days in a couple’s life. In fact, I love it so much I married a Colorado Wedding Planner who is consistently ranked one of the best wedding event planners and designers in the US. So weddings are a very important part of our everyday lives.
I am originally from the Chicago area and moved to Colorado in the late 1980s to attend College. If you know anything about Midwestern winters, once I saw the sunshine in January I knew I was in Colorado for the long haul. I currently live in Centennial with my amazing wife, three teenagers, two dogs and a bird. Life is good!
Professionally, I built my career in advertising and marketing. I’ve owned creative agencies in Denver and Centennial Colorado for more than 20 years. My passion for advertising begins with helping my clients build their brands and seeing their businesses thrive! Marrying a creative design with a thoughtful plan that eventually becomes an award winning campaign, viral social media post, or amazing website are the things I love most about my work. So you may ask, “how does this relate to us and our wedding?” Let’s tie it together (tie the knot pun not intended).
My Role In Your Wedding
It’s an honor to be part of a couple’s wedding ceremony, when they profess their love for each other in front of family, friends and each other. The joy I get in my “day job” pales in comparison to serving as a wedding officiant. I’m able to use my skills honed in advertising and marketing to literally build your brand as a couple. Before your big day we will take time to uncover who you are (your individual stories), define what is unique about you as a couple (your love story), and emphasize the extraordinary (your new life together framed by your amazing wedding ceremony!).
My role is to uncover aspects of your story that help define your relationship and your marriage. We take this journey together and craft a personalized ceremony that is uniquely YOU.
